青年医生（林伟图）发现所有身患怪病的病人均是中了降头，但好友（狄龙）不信妖邪之说，其妻（恬妮）更以身相试，却被施以「死降」，如果无法破解，二十四小时后便会身亡……本片由科幻小说大师倪匡执笔编剧，资深导演何梦华执导。狄龙一改古装侠士形象，首次演出时装恐怖片，更是难得一见。
